Read the qualification wording carefully
The basic-qualifications section allows completion before the internship ends, while the employment-equity section asks for a completed qualification. If you are still studying, ask recruitment which condition applies to you before relying on the broader wording. This is not advertised as a general Matric-only intake.
What the work involves
Duties include receiving and tracking parts, checking deliveries, keeping inventory records and arranging equipment movement. Physical tasks include regular unassisted loads up to 16 kg and some short-distance loads up to 22 kg. Read the full safety and accommodation information.
Prepare an inventory example
GraduateRoom’s advice is to practise explaining a simple stock discrepancy: what record you checked, how you confirmed the quantity and how you would escalate an unresolved difference. A coursework example is useful if labelled honestly.
For practice, create a fictional spreadsheet showing item code, quantity received, quantity issued and balance. Check whether each row reconciles. Do not present this as an Amazon assessment task or use confidential records from another organisation.
Work out the daily travel plan
Check the actual worksite and starting time with recruitment before committing to travel costs or moving. Compare reliable options and budget for the full attendance week. The presence of transport under preferred qualifications should not be treated as confirmation that a particular public route will work.
If you need an adjustment during recruitment or work, use Amazon’s accommodation process rather than assuming a physical-duty summary rules you in or out.
Documents and next steps
Amazon asks for an updated CV and identity/right-to-work documents through its portal. Keep qualification evidence ready and follow the exact upload prompts. Apply from the official vacancy page, save any acknowledgement and monitor your account.
The advert describes possible consideration for a later permanent role, subject to performance, openings and business needs. Future roles can involve shifts and on-call work; conversion is not guaranteed.
Apply through the official provider
