North West Human Settlements Is Hiring 45 Graduate Interns — R8,174 Monthly Stipend

The North West Department of Human Settlements has opened applications for its Graduate Internship Programme 2026/2028. A total of 45 positions are available across a wide range of fields, all based at the department's Head Office in Mmabatho. The programme runs for 24 months and pays a monthly stipend of R8,174.75.
This is one of the bigger government internship batches currently open in South Africa and covers everything from law and finance to IT, graphic design, HR and built environment. If you studied in one of those areas and you are currently unemployed, there is likely a position here that fits your qualification.

Who Qualifies
The requirements are straightforward. You need to be:
- A South African citizen
- Currently unemployed
- In possession of a relevant 3-year or 4-year post-matric qualification (National Diploma, Degree, BCom, LLB or similar)
- Qualified in one of the fields listed under the available positions below
