The Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) has released six entry-level government positions across multiple provinces. Roles are available in Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg, Kimberley, Randburg and Mmabatho, covering administration, court recording, secretarial support, data capturing and typing. No work experience is required for any of the positions and a Grade 12 certificate is the minimum qualification. Applications close on 3 July 2026.

Working within the judiciary is a distinctive environment. These posts sit inside High Courts and the Land Court, which means your daily work directly supports the administration of justice in South Africa. For a school leaver or recent graduate looking for a stable government career, this is a meaningful entry point.

Six permanent judiciary posts across five cities — no experience needed, just a Matric and an application submitted before 3 July 2026.
