About Course

Description:

The purpose of this short learning programme on Microsoft Excel for the workplace is to enable you to proficiently use Microsoft Excel in the workplace to organise, sort, filter, analyse, and present data. This includes the basic and some advanced functions in MS Excel that are typically used in the workplace. Course Curriculum

This course comprises five units, namely:

• Getting started with Excel (such as navigating, types of documents, basic operational commands, entering data in cells, using auto-fill, viewing and printing a workbook and worksheet).

• Organise data (such as basic formatting, cell styles and themes, sorting and filtering data, and data validation lists).

• Basic functions (such as basic formulas and calculations, absolute and relative cell referencing, logical operators, and concatenate).

• More advanced functions (such as key lookup, IF, Vlookup, scenario manager, charts, and macros).

• Using Excel for data analysis (including conditional formatting, pivot tables and charts, sparklines, presenting with dashboards, and graphs and charts to visualise data).
