Duties :

Provide registry counter services by attending to clients, handling telephonic and other enquiries received. Receive and register hand-delivered mail/files. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence by receiving all mail, sorting, registering and dispatching mail, and distributing notices on registry issues. Records Management services by opening and closing files according to the records classification system. Filing, sorting, tracing(electronically/manually) and retrieval of documents and files. Operate office machines in relation to the registry functions by opening and maintaining the franking machine register. Process documents for archiving and disposal by electronic scanning of files, sorting and packing files o archives, and distribution. Compiling a list of documents to be archived and submitting to the supervisor, keeping records for archived documents, auditing files using Metro filer system.
